Y S Fung (Technical Services)

Mr. Fung completed his technical apprenticeship in Hong Kong in 1962 and joined World-Wide Shipping as a Junior Engineer Officer in 1965. In 1990 he obtained his Chief Engineer's License and he continued to gain experience working on motor bulk carriers and tankers with engines up to 22,200 BHP. After more than 30 years at sea Mr. Fung joined Sunscot in 1996.

With his extensive experience on a variety of vessels Mr. Fung is particularly well qualified to quickly resolve problems without compromising vessel safety or operation. Over the years, Mr. Fung has developed and maintained efficient and productive working relationships with maritime companies throughout the world and he is experienced in working with seafarers and shore staff of different nationalities.
